Mozaro Cares
Mozaro works to reduce our clients technology spend so they may redirect those savings to enrich the lives of their employees and communities they serve.

As part of Mozaro's commitment to do the same, each employee is encouraged to dedicate one full business day per month volunteering in their local community. As a mission-driven organization, we support activities that build up our communities as well as the lives of our employees.

Shine Music Festival

Shawn Satterfield, President of Mozaro, is also Founder of Shine Music, a Colorado non-profit, whose mission is to make live music accessible for all.

In 2018, the Shine Music non-profit was created to breakdown the barriers that prevent people with any disability from not only attending but enjoying a day of live music as much as anyone else.

The first Shine Music Festival was held on August 8, 2021 at the Levitt Pavilion Denver. For over two years, the Shine team worked with various organizations serving disabled communities to create a space that would allow everyone to attend; a space where people of all abilities can come together and share in the amazing power of live music.

Despite a pandemic and the worst air quality of any major city in the world, it was an amazing day filled with music, food, fun and most importantly, inclusion.

Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise

As part of Mozaro's commitment to Good Business Colorado's Prosperous Economy mission, Shawn Satterfield testified before the House and then Senate regarding affordable health options for small businesses. With the cost of health care premiums skyrocketing, it is difficult for small/medium businesses to contribute or even provide healthcare options for their employees.

SB20-215 Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise would lower premiums, hold insurers to higher standards, set fair hospital costs, and create competition in counties with only one insurer. The plan would set fair reimbursement rates for hospitals to lower costs while protecting rural, independent, and critical access hospitals. Insurance companies would have to spend more of the money collected from premiums on actual care and pass-through savings from prescription drug rebates.

Metro Caring

Mozaro's Colbin Lindsley partnered up with Twiggs & Co for another great day of volunteering. This month, we supported Metro Caring. As Denver's frontline anti-hunger organization, Metro Caring works with our community to meet people’s immediate need for nutritious food while building a movement to address the root causes of hunger. Metro Caring offers innovative programming in Healthy Foods Access, Nutrition Education and Cooking Classes, ID Procurement, Urban Gardening, and Community Activation.

The team broke down large shipments of rice, beans, flour, sugar and re-packaged them to distribute to hundreds of families. Thanks to Twiggs & Co for setting up this great day allowing us to give back to the communities we love and serve.
